1. Who writes for TodayWeather
Articles on our blog come from two sources: guest contributors who submit through our Write for Us program, and our own editorial team covering weather, climate, health, and travel angles relevant to specific cities and regions.
2. Human review, always
Every submission. Guest post or in-house. Is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We check that the content is original, factually reasonable, free of plagiarism, and doesn't make unsupported claims (especially around health or safety advice tied to weather). Nothing is auto-published without review.
3. Where AI assistance is used
We may use AI tools to help with first drafts, editing suggestions, or research summarization for some articles. The same way a writer might use a grammar checker or research assistant. AI is never used to fabricate quotes, statistics, or events, and every AI-assisted piece still goes through the human review in section 2 before publishing. This is separate from our AI Weather Assistant feature, which answers live weather questions rather than writing articles.
4. Data verification
Any weather statistic, climate figure, or factual claim in an article is checked against a credible source (meteorological agencies, published research, or the same live data providers that power the rest of the site. See Data Sources & Methodology) before publishing. We don't publish speculative claims presented as fact.
5. Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it. See our Corrections Policy for how to report an error and how we handle updates. Articles that are meaningfully revised after publishing show an updated timestamp.
6. Editorial independence
Business listings and advertising (see Advertise With Us) are kept separate from editorial content. Paying to advertise or list a business does not influence what we write about, and sponsored content. If ever published. Will be clearly labeled as such.
