TodayWeather started as a simple idea: give people a fast, clean, no-clutter way to check live weather for their city. Hourly forecasts, a 16-day outlook, real precipitation radar, and air quality, all in one place.

Our mission

Weather affects real decisions. What to wear, whether to carry an umbrella, whether it's safe to drive. We built TodayWeather to answer those questions in seconds, for any city, region or postal code worldwide, without walls of ads or slow-loading pages getting in the way.

What powers our data

Forecasts and air quality come from Open-Meteo's public weather API, covering locations worldwide. Live precipitation radar is powered by RainViewer. Indian postal code lookups use India Post's public PIN code data. We don't run our own weather satellites or ground stations. We focus on presenting trustworthy data clearly and quickly, and we never fabricate a number when a data source is unavailable.

How it works

  • Search any city, region or postal code. We resolve it to live coordinates and fetch current data on the spot.
  • Check any date. Historical records for the past, forecasts up to 16 days ahead.
  • City pages are added by our team through an internal dashboard, and go live instantly with their own SEO-friendly page.
  • Guest posts and business listings are submitted by registered users, and reviewed manually before publishing.

Beyond the forecast

We're building TodayWeather into more than a weather site. A small local directory too. Our blog features guest writers covering weather, climate, health and travel angles relevant to each city. Our business directory highlights local, weather-relevant businesses. Both are free to submit and reviewed manually before publishing.

Who's behind TodayWeather

TodayWeather is built and run by a small, independent team focused on making live weather data genuinely useful. Not on maximizing time-on-site with clutter. Our editorial and business-listing submissions go through the process described in our Editorial Policy, and every data source we rely on is listed transparently on our Data Sources & Methodology page.
